Moreover, the kids will get all the nutritional benefits of the vegetables, without even realising they\u2019re eating them!<\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/zucchini-black-500gr\/\">medium courgettes (zucchinis<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Half of a<a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/cauliflower-per-piece\/\"> cauliflower<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Steamed <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/carrots-cy-500gr\/\">carrots<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/pumpkin-per-piece-1-8kg\/\">squash<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Drizzle of <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product-category\/grocery\/oil\/\">Olive oil<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 medium <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/large-onion-imported-kg\/\">yellow onion<\/a>, diced<\/li>\n<li>2 <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/garlic-imported-per-piece\/\">cloves<\/a> of garlic, crushed<\/li>\n<li>350g of <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product-category\/grocery\/pasta\/\">pasta<\/a><\/li>\n<li>500ml of <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/kess-vegetable-stock-cubes-120g\/\">vegetable stock<\/a><\/li>\n<li>300ml of <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product-category\/chilled\/milk\/\">milk<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product-category\/grocery\/milk-substitutes\/\">plant-based alternative<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/kaouris-oregano-cy-30gr\/\">dried oregano<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 tsp <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/byodo-organic-medium-hot-mustard-200ml\/\">mustard<\/a><\/li>\n<li>150g <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product-category\/deli-counter-cheese\/\">hard yellow cheese<\/a>, grated<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product-category\/grocery\/flour\/\">flour<\/a><\/li>\n<li>4 strips of <a href=\"http:\/\/dev.prinos.eu\/product\/gregoriou-bacon-sliced-150gr\/\">streaky bacon<\/a>, diced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First prepare the vegetables, peeling and grating the courgettes, finely chopping and steaming the cauliflower, and chopping and steaming the carrots or squash in a separate bowl. Next heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, before adding the onion and bacon and frying for 2-3 minutes. Once softened, add the garlic and stir for another minute. Add flour and mix well, before slowly stirring in the milk. Bring to the boil stirring regularly to avoid lumps, then reduce heat. Next add the grated cheese and allow to melt. Puree the steamed vegetables in a blender then add to the sauce. Now add the sauce to your cooked pasta and serve.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong><u>Courgette or Zucchini Spaghetti with Home Made Pesto<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Not only are courgette noodles delicious and packed full of flavour, but they are also healthy! Made from only fresh courgette cleverly disguised as pasta, this dish is a great gluten-free alternative to the usual carbohydrate filled spaghetti. It\u2019s smooth, but also lightly crunchy. And as an added bonus, your kids won\u2019t even realise it\u2019s a vegetable. Next made your pesto by putting all the ingredients in a blender and blending until smooth and creamy. Drizzle some oil into a pan on a medium heat, then lightly saut\u00e9 the spaghetti for 2-3 minutes. Now lower the heat, then slowly add the pesto into the pan, stirring until the spaghetti is toasted. Cauliflowers are packed full of nutritional benefits, such as Vitamins C, K and B6, as well as antioxidants, folate, potassium, and fibre. Next melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, before lightly sauteing the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the cauliflower to the pan, stir for one minute before adding the stock and lemon juice. Add then to an oven dish with one crushed garlic clove, sprinkle with salt and pepper and roast for 30 minutes. In the meantime, heat up the oil in a large pot and fry the diced onion until soft. Add the rest of the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes before adding in the tomato paste, then the crushed tomatoes and grated carrots. Stir well, then leave to simmer for 10 minutes while the vegetables roast. Next add the roasted vegetables to the sauce, then stir in the maple syrup, balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper to taste. Let everything simmer for another 10 minutes, then let cool before blending and serving with your kid\u2019s favourite pasta.<\/p>\n<p>So, now you have four great recipes to get started.
