Crispy feta parcels with honey & sesame

Simple ingredients, unforgettable flavour.

🥗 Ingredients:

  • 200g feta cheese (cut into blocks)
  • 6–8 sheets phyllo pastry
  • 50g butter or olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2–3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Fresh thyme (optional)
  • Black pepper

👩‍🍳 Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut the feta into rectangular blocks.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry, brush lightly with butter or olive oil, then place another sheet on top.
  4. Place a piece of feta at the edge and fold into a parcel (like a small envelope or roll). Repeat for all pieces.
  5. Place the parcels on a baking tray and brush the tops with butter or olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  7. Warm the honey slightly and mix with sesame seeds.
  8. Drizzle the honey over the hot feta parcels and finish with thyme and a pinch of black pepper.
